Here at Fullex we have a long standing tradition in bringing security to the forefront by providing quality products. We are proud to have set the benchmark for security innovation, bringing new ideas into fruition, so we can offer our customers even more.
With our onsite UKAS accredited testing laboratory, we are able to assess the security of external residential doors and windows against PAS 24 testing standards.
Windows and doors certificated to PAS 24 ensure that they have passed high security and performance tests set out by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), a government recognised national accreditation body.
How to meet PAS 24 standards?
Only a UKAS accredited testing centre can issue PAS 24 certification. With our very own onsite UKAS accredited testing laboratory No 2259, we can offer development testing in addition to full accreditation testing for certification.
Through our testing services we stringently assess and validate both the security and durability of products, measuring how effective they are in resisting forced entry from a casual or opportunist burglar. If the product can withstand physical force through a number of attacks, they are awarded a pass.
Being UKAS accredited, we can ensure the competence, impartiality, and performance capability of our experienced test engineers.
When it comes to home security, it is vital that each entry point to the home is protected against attacks. Since October 2015, the introduction of Approved Document Q ensures that reasonable standards for doors and windows in all new residences meet the security requirements of PAS 24.
As a supplier using Fullex testing services, you can reassure your customers that the standards of your products are PAS 24 compliant.
